30th November 2010
This week, on Friday December 3rd, Blood For Blood is kicking off their, long awaited, European Tour, as part of the 2010 Persistence Tour. This will mark the first time since 2004 that Blood For Blood fans have been able to see the band live on stage. As previously announced by the band on June 19th 2010 (statement hereunder), Rob Lind decided not to join the rest of the band and Billy Graziadei, from Biohazard, will be filling in for him. Today Rob Linds wants to share this official statement about not joining Blood For Blood (for now), the future of the band and his relationship with his band mates:
"Hello there children! It's been long time... A few months ago it was announced in the press that Blood For Blood would be touring again. Specifically it was announced that BFB would be doing this years annual Persistence Tour in Europe (with Sick Of It All, D.R.I., Unearth, Evergreen Terrace and others). It was also announced that Blood For Blood would be doing this tour and future shows without me. In absence of a response or statement on my part, there was an immediate deluge of speculation, invective and hostility in reaction to the announcement online and in the scene. And it is ongoing. With the Persistence Tour looming and Blood For Blood's return to the stage imminent, I just wanted to clarify my position and set the record straight. First let me say that I was overwhelmed by the outpouring of support on my behalf. I have never been more sincere in my whole fucking life: it meant more to me than anything that has happened since I started playing music. I will never forget it as long as I live. However the controversy was misguided and any negativity misplaced. I have been working with Buddha and Ian for the last few months now on the future of Blood For Blood and it has been an open and amicable relationship. The core of Blood For Blood has always been our friendship within the band. I cannot tour at this point in my life. I hope to be able to again in the future but at present it is simply not possible for personal reasons that I will not get into. I miss it very much (believe me, I would like nothing more than to be getting up on stage with the guys in a few days for the tour's first show). But my inability to tour doesn't alter the fact that Blood For Blood has an enduring legacy and demand. And the fellas in the band miss it all as much as I do. After a few months of open dialogue and discussion we (Buddha, Ian, and I) have decided on an arrangement that is best for us all. Though I stated I can't play out and tour right now, I am not done with music by a long shot. Nor am I done with Blood For Blood. Blood For Blood will always be a part of me and I will always be a part of Blood For Blood. And the show isn't over... The band, with my full support and blessing and friendship, is going to tour again without me until the time comes when I can join them again on the road. This was the plan all along and that had been in the works for a while now. We just had to work out some internal details before I could jump in openly and publicly. This is not a tentative or half-hearted arrangement. We intend to continue the band on all fronts. We intend to record again. We intend to play out and tour again (as I stated above, I will join in live whenever possible). And we are psyched about every bit of it. On a side note, I have never at any point over the past few years stopped writing music (either for Blood For Blood or any of my other projects). Consequently I am presently hoarding the biggest glut of material in my life. And I can't wait to get to work on it. So even though I won't physically be there on stage with the guys, I will be there whole-heartedly in spirit as a member of the band. Blood For Blood is back, bitches! I bet club security all over the world is weeping and hiring extra help and taking out better health care policies on their employees! Cheers, Rob Lind"

The Berlin show is moving closer and closer. Unfortunately there’s not enough time between ticket orders from foreign countries and the show to make sure the mail arrives on time so it is quite safer to deposit the tickets at the door. That means we stop sending them out on November 26th. No reason to hesitate though. You still can order via PayPal until December 3rd! Tickets orders from Germany will be send out until November 30th.

Massachusetts metallers UNEARTH have tapped drummer Branden Morgan of MISERY SIGNALS for their upcoming European dates as part of the Persistence Tour.
The band says, "Branden is a great drummer and has been nailing all the tunes in rehearsal. Everyone headed to the Persistence Tour can expect UNEARTH to be as solid as ever during this run."
26th October 2010
Unearth has announced the departure of drummer Derek Kerswill, primarily due to "creative differences." The group has issued the following statement: "After three plus years of touring the world together and playing on our latest album 'The March', we have parted ways with drummer Derek Kerswill. The most notable reason for the split are the creative differences. The time has come for Unearth to write a new album and creating music with a tight unit is the only way we can assure the best collection of songs possible. The differences between Kerswill and the band started off as subtle, but became increasingly obvious over the past few months and it was time for both parties to go their separate ways. We have shared a ton of great experiences and achieved many of the goals we set for ourselves in the time he was in the band. There is no ill will from either side of this decision and we wish him only the best moving forward. Unearth won't skip a beat, though, as we will be announcing a replacement drummer for our upcoming European stint on the Persistence Tour shortly. Lastly some exciting plans are coming together for the recording to the follow up to 'The March,' sometime early in 2011."
Meanwhile, Kerswill had the following to say: "Creative differences are real and unfortunately have gotten the best of me. I wish the guys luck in the future and thank you to everyone who ever loved and supported 'The March'."

Straight edge punk-hardcore band Casey Jones has just entered the studio, after splitting with Eulogy Recordings, with plans of a self-release early next year. "Most of these songs have been written for over a year," said frontman Josh James. "We decided to release them ourselves because we all believe in them. They're some of the most intense, passionate songs we’ve ever written. All killer, no filler. We plan to take them on the road next year for Casey Jones fans, old and new." For now, fans can catch the band on our upcoming Persistence Tour with Sick of it All, D.R.I., Blood for Blood, Unearth, Evergreen Terrace and Cruel Hand.
09th September 2010
If you don’t already have Cruel Hand’s new album „Prying Eyes“ by now you should definitely get it at your local record dealer today! For example, check out the legendary Coretex for this extraordinary oldschool hardcore album.
„Prying Eyes“ is already a hardcore classic and worth paying attention to. A sound, straight to your face that finally brings a fresh wind to the scene, is what makes this album the insider tip of the year.
02st September 2010
CRUEL HAND's singer speaks for the band: "We are very excited to have the opportunity to be a part of M.A.D.'s Persistence Tour. Sharing the stage with SOIA is something that we've wanted to do for a long time. And Maine has always been huge supporters of Blood for Blood - their Soulless EP was one of my first 7 inches - so this tour really brings things full circle for me in those aspects. Also really excited to see D.R.I. and we're also looking forward to hanging with our homies in Evergeen Terrace and Casey Jones."

Blood For Blood's reunion. An official statement from the band:
"First off, we would like to thank all our fans for hanging in there over the last six long years. As of December 2010 Blood for Blood will embark on our first tour since 2004. Blood for Blood has agreed to join the Persistence Tour in Europe sharing a stage with long time friends Sick of it All as well as other acts soon to be announced.
The decision to play again was not an easy one to make. Over the last few years we have tried time and time again to contact Rob about a possible Blood for Blood reunion, but he has ignored every single attempt we have made. Therefore, we were left with no other choice but to find someone else to fill in for his BFB responsibilities. Now, let’s make this perfectly clear: we have no ill will towards Rob whatsoever. We wish him well and Blood for Blood will always be open to him.
That being said, we were left with the conundrum of finding a fill-in for Rob. After some careful thought we believe we found a perfect fill-in. We are pleased to announce that Billy Graziadei of Biohazard will be joining Blood for Blood on stage for Persistence Tour 2010.
Again thanks for all the countless emails and support letters from all our fans over the years. We are looking forward to seeing all your ugly faces again". -
